On recent dive into Reddit I stumbled across a subgroup dedicated to glitch art. There, I met Leisure Wolf who was posting some very cool images that had been sorted and phased. I sent LW a private message asking which tool was being used to create the effect. “Oh, that’s MadPixelSort” was the reply followed by a quick rundown on how to use it.
Whereas some glitch effects require code from github to process the effect, MadPixelSort is a plug and play solution that does most (if not all) the heavy lifting for you. Who better to show you around the tool than the creator himself:
